The City of West Union Yard Waste Site will now be open 24/7 starting tomorrow, July 21, 2026. This service is provided exclusively for West Union residents, and there is currently no fee to drop off accepted materials.

♻️ Accepted Items: Yard waste and limbs 4 inches in diameter and under.
🚫 Not Accepted: Trash, rocks or concrete, flower pots, or whole trees.

In this vital role, you will provide leadership in developing short- and long-range plans, respond to public and City Council inquiries, and participate in economic development activities for our community. You will also work closely with city departments, engineers, and consultants to oversee projects and keep our city moving forward.

The West Union Cemetery will be temporarily closed on Thursday, May 14, 2026, to allow for routine weed spraying and grounds maintenance.

The cemetery will reopen to the public the following day, Friday, May 15, 2026.

As the weather warms up, the City of West Union would like to remind residents that all golf carts operated within city limits must be registered at City Hall.

To complete your registration, please make sure to bring:
→ Initial Permit: $75 (for new carts or those not previously registered)
→ Renewal: $30 (for previously registered carts)
→ Proof of valid insurance
