Doddridge County Parks

Doddridge County Parks 250+ acre recreation complex with swimming pool, tennis court, basketball courts, volleyball court, baseball fields, playground structures and picnic shelters.

Hiking trails and camping are being developed to provide a greater adventure experience for all guests. The Park also hosts a Lodge building with seating for up to 250 with kitchen facility. Great for meetings, reunions or weddings. The Lodge can accommodate 100 people in its sleeping area for overnight camps or retreats.

Due to current and forecasted rain for the day, the Doddridge County Park will not be opening the Pool today, Sunday, August 16th. Current water levels in the creek that run around the park continue to rise. The park road around the far end of the Park has started to take on water and may prevent traffic from getting around if it continues.

Please be aware the Pool is scheduled to be open Monday thru Wednesday this week and then weekends only following.

This event will have clothing for all sizes, some shoes and undergarments for all kids. Come to the Doddridge County Park and shop for your kids. The Doddridge County Park Pavilion (under the Main Building) will be set up.

We have launched a new page! We’ve created Doddridge County Parks - Sports & Activities as a dedicated place for all things sports, recreation, and active programming through the Park.

Our main Doddridge County Parks page will continue to cover everything happening throughout the park, campground, pool, and community, while the new Sports & Activities page will give more frequent and in-depth updates to those who are especially interested in our recreation programs and activities. We want the Sports & Activities page to be an easy way for our community to stay informed and communicate with us.

We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to continuing to create more opportunities for our community to play, compete, explore, and stay active!

The Doddridge County Campground - Lone Pine - has a Yurt that is open for the coming week of the FAIR thru next weekend - August 16th.

If you are interested in the Yurt please go online and book it or contact the Park Campground at 304-873-2267.

Yurt Three sleeps up to eight and has AC and an outside kitchen / grilling area. Great place to stay during the FAIR.

Due to the MonPower Scheduled outage the Doddridge County Pool May open late today, Wednesday, August 5. Please contact the Park prior to coming to verify we have regained power. MonPower indicated power would be returned by noon.
