Letter from the DHHR regarding the lack of and slow down of Medicaid payments. The lack of a budget for West Virginia is playing a huge role in this.

And so it begins.....Medicaid providers have been put on notice that their claims will be paid depending on West Virginia's budget cash flow. The longer West Virginia goes without passing a budget, the more it will negatively impact businesses that depend on being paid by the state.

As this is public news now, we have had a reduced income from Medicare and Medicaid. We are not the only EMS agency in West Virginia experiencing this and we have reached out to our delegates, congressman and senators. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us and we are doing everything we can to be here another 40+ years.

As stated this morning, we took delivery of some new items today. Our new uniforms from Cintas Corporation arrived. Crews will now be appearing in these new uniforms.

A few pictures of the recent EVOC class we held recently.

The Park hosted a Emergency Vehicle Operators driving test for county EMS and EMS personal from all around the area to qualify to drive. Several drivers from many different agencies took part. The course used all parking lots and the loop road around the Park as part of the test.
