STANDING TALL THROUGH IT ALL.

The past few months have not been easy.

The criticism. The personal attacks. The hurtful words. And the things that have been said about me that are simply not true.

Through it all, I've chosen to stand tall.

But this isn't the first time life has tested me. I'm a cancer survivor. I've faced the fear, uncertainty, and difficult days that come with fighting cancer.

That experience taught me a great deal about strength, perseverance, and keeping perspective when life becomes difficult.

I've faced battles far greater than political criticism. And I've learned that strength isn't about never being knocked down. It's about finding the courage to stand back up.

I've learned throughout my nearly 30-year legal career that you cannot control what others say about you. But you can control how you respond.

A judge must have the strength to withstand criticism, even when it's unfair. A judge must remain composed under pressure, exercise good judgment, and never allow personal feelings to interfere with doing what is right.

Those are principles I believe in, and they're principles I've tried to demonstrate throughout this campaign.

I'm human. I'm a mother. I have a family. I have feelings. And yes, some of the things that have been said have hurt. But I refuse to allow bitterness or anger to define who I am.

My roots are here in Adams County. My career has been devoted to the law.

And my principles remain the same: uphold the Constitution, follow the law, and treat everyone fairly.

The past few months have tested me, but they have not changed me.

What a wonderful evening Monday at the Willow Event Center in Wi******er as we wrapped up our Politics & Pie series!

I want to personally thank everyone who came out, not only Monday evening, but throughout our series of events across Adams County. I've enjoyed the opportunity to sit down with so many friends and neighbors, answer questions, listen to your concerns, and talk about the responsibilities of our local elected officials.

Throughout this campaign, I've believed that voters deserve the opportunity to ask questions directly and receive thoughtful, respectful answers. We can discuss important issues, even when we disagree, without shouting, name-calling, or personal attacks. That's how I've approached these conversations, and I appreciate everyone who helped make them possible.

Adams County is home. It's where I've raised my family, built my legal career, and spent my life. Having the opportunity to visit with so many of you throughout this series has meant a great deal to me.

Thank you for your time, your questions, your kindness, and the many wonderful conversations.

What a wonderful evening celebrating a great cause right here in Adams County! ❤️

I thoroughly enjoyed attending the Adams County Medical Foundation Gala last evening! It was even more special having my mom and some wonderful friends join me for the occasion. It was a fantastic opportunity to spend time together, catch up with so many familiar faces, and support an organization that does incredible work for Adams County and the people who call it home.

The Adams County Medical Foundation plays an important role in supporting local healthcare, and I’m grateful for the dedicated individuals, volunteers, and generous supporters who help make its work possible.

A special thank you to Congressman Dave Taylor for joining us! We appreciate his service in Congress, his commitment to Southern Ohio, and the time he takes to be present at events like this.

Congratulations to everyone involved in organizing such a wonderful evening.

There’s something special about gathering with family, friends, and neighbors in support of a cause that makes a meaningful difference right here at home.

🌾 Celebrating an Ohio Century Farm in Adams County!

What a wonderful occasion to join my good friend, Ohio Department of Agriculture Director Brian Baldridge, along with family, friends and fellow local officials, for the dedication of the Fields Foster Family Farm as an Ohio Century Farm!

Established in 1926, the Fields Foster Family Farm represents a century of hard work, dedication and a proud agricultural heritage that continues to be such an important part of Adams County.

Farming is more than a way of life in Adams County. It's part of who we are.

The families who have worked this land for generations have helped shape our county through their perseverance, commitment and love for the land.

It was especially meaningful to celebrate this milestone alongside Director Baldridge, Auditor David Gifford and Commissioner Kelly Jones who understands the importance of agriculture and the farm families who contribute so much to Ohio.

Barbara Moore Holt has practiced law for nearly three decades, building a broad legal career that has taken her through virtually every part of the courtroom.

Thank you to Adams County for Christian Values for inviting me to share more about my campaign for Common Pleas Judge, my vision for the court, and something especially close to my heart — the future of Adams County’s children.

My faith and values have helped guide me throughout my life, my legal career and my service to Adams County. I believe in treating people with dignity, standing firm in our principles, accepting personal responsibility, protecting our children and never losing sight of the importance of faith and family.

As Judge, one of my priorities will be the safety and well-being of our children. I want our court working closely with families, schools, law enforcement, Children Services and other local organizations to address problems early, hold young people accountable when necessary, reduce repeat offenses and help put children on a path toward brighter, more successful futures.

That doesn’t mean compromising accountability. It means recognizing that when children enter our court system, we have both a responsibility to protect the public and an opportunity to intervene before poor decisions become a lifetime pattern.

I appreciated the opportunity to talk about the foundational beliefs that unite so many Adams County residents and the importance of having the courage to live those values with both conviction and compassion.

A special thank you to my close friend Janie Lucas for her steadfast support, encouragement and prayers. Her friendship and faith mean more to me than she knows.

What a wonderful evening at Erwin Farms & Corn Maze for last night’s Judicial Salute!

I was honored to join Justice Dan Hawkins and Colleen O’Donnell, Republican candidates for the Ohio Supreme Court, and spend time talking with Adams County voters about our courts, our Constitution and the responsibility that comes with serving on the bench.

As a candidate for Adams County Common Pleas Judge, I believe experience matters. Judges must be prepared to follow the law, respect the Constitution, protect the rights of everyone who enters the courtroom and administer justice with fairness and firmness.

I appreciated the opportunity to share my experience and vision for our new Common Pleas Court and, most importantly, to hear directly from the people of Adams County.

Thank you to everyone who came out, asked questions and took the time to learn more about the judicial candidates who will appear on the November ballot.
