It’s a big job being little! 💛Kindergarteners spend their day learning how to be a great student, ✏️practicing school rules and routines, 📆 routines, and making new friends. They are learning their letters and numbers, discovering new vocabulary, and diving into fun ELA and math activities. 📚🔢
And of course, there’s time for the important stuff too - lunch, 🥪🍕🌮recess, 🛝and lots of learning through play.
Kindergarten is where little learners take big steps. 🤓

Truman students, welcome back to school! We started our day with a flag ceremony, with assistance from some student leaders, and then we recited our school’s theme for the year, which is Dive Into Learning. We’re excited to learn with all of you. ❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛

Truman's Summer Library Program and Read-A-Thon was a huge success! Thanks to Ms. Langford for sharing her love of reading. Sponsors included the Ivory Foundation, Boyer, Utah Community Builders, and Utah Rising. We were featured by KSL.

Improving literacy has become the state's top education goal. So this summer, we're seeing many schools finding fun ways to keep students engaged during summer break. Here's how Truman Elementary is helping to prevent summer learning loss.
