We are so fortunate to live in a community with MANY dedicated people, who stop what they're doing at a moment's notice to answer the call, train tirelessly for their neighbors, and do so without the expectation of reward or compensation.

🚨Earlier this evening, the siren blew and the guys and gals of WWFD sprang to action. We're all home safe and sound now, and are thankful no one was seriously injured tonight.

The Village of West Winfield, NY is offering for sale a used 1983 Aerial fire apparatus. This unit probably is not usable as a fire truck without extensive repairs. Also there is no title due to the age of the apparatus. If interested, please call the Village office at 315-822-3051 to make arrangements to view the vehicle.
If this is purchased by anyone other than a fire department, the emergency light bar and siren will be removed.
Bid offers may be sent to the Village of West Winfield, PO Box 308, West Winfield, NY, 13491. Bid offers will be accepted until noon on Monday, August 10, 2026
Successful bidder will be notified by August 15, and payment payable to the Village of West Winfield is due within 7 days of the acceptance of a purchase offer and payment must be made by cash, cashier’s check, or money order. Payment must be received prior to removal of the vehicle from Village property and purchaser has 7 days to remove the vehicle after payment has been made
The Village reserves the right to reject any and all offers.
