🚧 Construction Reminder 🚧

With multiple construction projects happening throughout town and along Highway 20 and Highway 191, please remember to slow down and stay alert.

Road crews are working hard to improve our community, and that means you may encounter workers near the roadway, changing traffic patterns, reduced speed limits, and increased fines in active construction zones.

Expect delays. Officers are out monitoring these areas to help keep workers, drivers, and pedestrians safe.

The road crews want to go home, you want to go home, and we’d like to go home too. Do your part and slow down.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from the West Yellowstone Police Department! 🇺🇸

We’re excited to celebrate the Fourth of July with our incredible community! We hope everyone has a fun and safe night.

- As you head out tonight, please keep these reminders in mind:

- Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible. If you’re using legal fireworks, follow all town ordinances and use them responsibly.

- Never drive impaired. If you’re celebrating with alcohol or other substances, plan for a sober ride home.

- Expect increased pedestrian traffic throughout town. Slow down, stay alert, and be patient.

- Buckle up, every trip, every time.

Lost Dog

Found near 287/191 junction this evening. The dog is in custody with the West Yellowstone Police Department. Please call 406-646-7600 if you have any information regarding this dog or finding its owner.
