West Des Moines Emergency Medical Services is the municipal ambulance service and primary provider of 911 ambulance services for the City of West Des Moines, IA. WDM EMS provides advanced life support medical response and transport 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. WDM EMS has over 25 full-time Paramedics and nearly 50 part-time Paramedics and EMTs. West Des Moines EMS also provides public service an
d injury prevention through regular community outreach programs in schools and other public venues, as well as provides CPR training to the community. Highly skilled and trained, WDM EMS personnel provide the highest level of emergency care to victims of illness and injury. The Paramedics and EMTs of WDM EMS value the lives that are entrusted to them and consider it a privilege to serve the emergency medical needs of our community.
