Valley High School - WDMCS At Valley High School we value the whole student. Valley is a three-year comprehensive high school with an enrollment of approximately 2,000 students.

We encourage students to develop through a balanced foundation of the Four A’s – academics, activities, arts and athletics. It is accredited by the State of Iowa and North Central Association. The campus is located in West Des Moines, a suburban community of approximately 55,000 residents bordering the western city limits of Des Moines.

The Tiger volleyball team beat top-ranked and defending state champion Waukee Northwest at the Marj White Classic under the lights at Valley Stadium. What a great atmosphere — thanks to everyone who attended and made the event possible!

WHO 13 News and The Des Moines Register stopped by to catch up with seniors Alec McClinton, Blake Dorenkamp, Owen Woods, and Head Coach Gary Swenson before the football season-opener against Dowling. Kickoff is set for Friday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m.
