The integrity of our elections depends on independent, nonpartisan oversight.

The League of Women Voters is speaking out following the removal of the bipartisan commissioners serving on the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC). The EAC plays a critical role in supporting election officials, certifying voting systems, and helping ensure elections are secure, accessible, and fair. The League believes that preserving independent election administration is essential to maintaining public trust in our democracy.
