Happy Birthday to the Hastings Free Little Library! We got a new makeover for our 4th Birthday! In our 4 years, we estimate that 10,000 books have passed in and out of this library and into the hands of our young readers. To celebrate we are full of Halloween 🎃 👻 books! In memory of MLK Day we have stocked the library with books 📚 all about MLK himself, love & acceptance, and about loving each other for what is on the inside. It is such a yucky day today that I wasn’t able to take any pictures, but here are just a few titles that we have in the library this week!

Starting this week, we will be putting out a Free Hats & Mittens Bin next to the library, please feel free to take some NEW winter gear as you pick out a book. *If you would like to donate NEW children’s winter hats & mittens, you may drop off at the bin at anytime*

We know you’ve been waiting…Frosty is finally back! He’s been waiting for some chilly weather to arrive! Boy, did he bring A LOT of holiday and winter books for you to enjoy! The library is packed and will be stocked with even more throughout the week!

We want to say a special thank you to two families who donated over $500 of new books to our library this holiday season! Your generosity is very appreciated!
