🇺🇸 2026 Deborah Sampson Award Recognition

The Central Massachusetts Veterans' Services District is honored to share that our Veterans Service Officer, Yissel Franco, was nominated for and recognized through the 2026 Deborah Sampson Award by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Veterans Services (EOVS) and the Massachusetts Women Veterans Network (WVN).

This recognition reflects a commitment to serving veterans and their families with dignity, compassion, and professionalism. It also highlights the importance of collaboration among veterans, families, community partners, advocates, and service providers whose collective efforts help connect veterans to the benefits, resources, and support they have earned.

While this recognition acknowledges individual service, it is also a testament to the many veterans whose resilience inspires this work, the partners who strengthen it, and the communities that make it possible.

The District extends its sincere appreciation to EOVS, the Massachusetts Women Veterans Network, it’s VSOs, and the many advocates & volunteers across the Commonwealth who remain dedicated to improving the lives of veterans and their families.

As always, the Central Massachusetts Veterans' Services District remains committed to ensuring that those who served our nation receive the support, respect, and advocacy they deserve.

🇺🇸 Service to veterans is not simply a profession—it is a privilege.
