Youth MOVE Massachusetts

Youth MOVE Massachusetts We are the Statewide Massachusetts Chapter of Youth MOVE National! Youth M.O.V.E Massachusetts is a chapter of Youth M.O.V.E. Youth M.O.V.E.

National, a youth-led national organization. National members work as a diverse collective to unite the voices and causes of youth while raising awareness around youth issues. We will advocate for youth rights and voice in mental health and the other systems that serve them, for the purpose of empowering youth to be equal partners in the process of change. Youth M.O.V.E provides community-based in

dividual and group peer support, youth and young adult resources and referrals, as well as youth-specific trainings on a variety of topics (i.e. Strategic Sharing, Professional Development Skills, LGBTQI+, etc.). We also provide training and coaching to organizations who employ peer mentors, as well as employ young adults with lived experience within our own agency. Youth M.O.V.E advocates on a state and national level for services that support the unique service needs of youth and young adults and collaborates with state systems for better policies and services for youth and young adults.

Check out this paid opportunity for young adults!

Would you like to contribute to our understanding of the relationship between loneliness, mental health, and alcohol use among young adults? As part of his dissertation research for Brandeis University, SYAC co-leader Micah Webster is looking to interview young adults with lived experience of alcohol use and mental health needs. Please consider filling out this short survey to see if you’re eligible to interview about these topics. If you are selected to participate in a 60-minute interview, you will be compensated $30. Questions? Please contact Micah Webster at 978-501-5013 or [email protected]. Thank you!
