The Innovation Institute, & academic partners recently welcomed the inaugural TechGeneration cohort, a new program designed to help students make the most of internship opportunities in Boston’s innovation economy.
For many students, the cost of housing can make it difficult to access internships that provide valuable professional experience, industry connections & career-building opportunities. TechGeneration helps address that challenge by combining affordable housing with professional development programming, networking opportunities & exposure to the organizations driving innovation across MA.
At the kick-off event, Secretary Eric Paley joined Innovation Institute Director Patrick Larkin & TechGeneration Program Coordinator Penélope M. to welcome the cohort & share how investments in talent development can help strengthen the state’s innovation ecosystem.
Over the next 10 weeks, participants will gain hands-on experience at organizations across the region while building connections with fellow interns, researchers, founders, investors & industry leaders. Through partnerships with , , & , TechGeneration is helping students build professional networks, explore career pathways & imagine a future in MA’s innovation economy.
