Thank you Governor Janet Mills for coming to Westbrook High School this morning to sign the "Bell to Bell Cell Phone Ban" into law, and for noting in your remarks the hard work of our local education policy makers on this issue.

I was honored to attend the ceremonial signing of the "Bell to Bell Cell Phone Ban" legislation with Mayor David Morse, the governor and other city and state leaders today. Thank you to the Westbrook School Committee for their strong stance on this issue. This legislation is an important measure to ensure our children learn in the best possible environment and our teachers teach to the best of their abilities.
