The Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) has issued an Energy Emergency Alert (EEA) Level 2 effective starting July 15, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST.
While the electric grid is stable, all available generation resources are being used, and the potential for power supply shortages is increasing, causing conservation measures to be put into place. Please help by cutting back where you can. Pause the dryer, turn off extra lights, and unplug devices. Every little bit helps prevent outages.
