🇺🇸 A Busy Week for Grassroots East!

It’s been another busy week for Grassroots East, and this is exactly what grassroots politics is all about—showing up and doing the work.

On Monday, we hit the road and delivered our Grassroots East GOTV trailer and a large campaign sign to George Austin’s campaign headquarters in Willimantic. We’re proud to put our resources on the ground and help Republican candidates get their message out to voters across Eastern Connecticut.

Then Saturday night, I had the honor of being invited to speak at the Norwich-Sprague Republican fundraiser at Hilly Land in Scotland.

What a great evening! Crisp fall weather, a beautiful setting, and—most importantly—great Republican company. It was an opportunity to connect with fellow Republicans, activists, candidates and supporters who understand that winning elections doesn't happen by sitting on the sidelines.

It happens by getting involved, knocking doors, making calls, registering voters, supporting candidates and, most importantly, showing up.

That’s what Grassroots East is all about.

We’re organized. We’re motivated. And we’re getting ready to GET OUT THE VOTE! 🇺🇸

What an incredible weekend at the Chester Fair! Grassroots East was proud to be there, meeting so many great people, talking about our communities, and encouraging citizens to get involved in the political process.

GRE Hits the Montville Farmers Market! 🇺🇸

What a great night at the Montville Farmers Market with the Grassroots East (GRE) mobile trailer!

We had lots of visitors stop by, curious about what GRE is and what our mission is all about. Once I explained our commitment to grassroots involvement, voter engagement, and helping people become informed and active participants in our elections, the response was incredibly positive.

A special thank you to Glenn & Sharon, who stopped by to see what their old trailer has transformed into! It was great to show them the finished product, share a few laughs, and, of course, get a photo together. 📸🇺🇸

It was especially encouraging to hear so many people say they want to be engaged voters and stay involved in the process.

That’s exactly what GRE is about — building a stronger grassroots movement, one conversation and one voter at a time.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and took the time to learn more. We’ll see you out there!

Today, our nation lost a dedicated public servant with the passing of Senator Lindsey Graham.

On behalf of Grassroots East, I extend our deepest condolences to Senator Graham's family, friends, staff, and the people of South Carolina.

For more than two decades in the United States Senate, he served his state and our country with conviction, courage, and an unwavering commitment to the principles he believed would keep America strong. Whether people agreed with every position he took or not, no one could question his love for this nation or his willingness to fight for what he believed was right.

As Chairman of Grassroots East, I join countless Americans in honoring his lifetime of service. May we remember that public service is ultimately about leaving our country better than we found it.

Please keep Senator Graham's family and loved ones in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Senator Lindsey Graham. Your service to America will not be forgotten.
