It has been a challenging week for the Westby community, and it was truly encouraging to see such strong support and unity in honoring and assisting our local first responders.

Update: State highway 27 is open but there is a lot of drifting snow so travel safely.

State highway 27 between Westby and Cashton is currently closed due to weather.

Be aware, know the signs. Unfortunately, it does not take long for these conditions to set in with freezing temperatures. In the event you have to go outdoors, dress in layers, wear waterproof boots, gloves, hats, and face coverings, along with layers underneath your coat and snow pants.
