Our Recreation Therapy Department continues to offer weekly UTV rides, and they’ve quickly become a favorite outing for our residents! ☀️

Each week, we head out to explore beautiful areas around our community, including the City of Westby and downtown area, Timber Coulee, Amish Country, and even special destinations requested by our residents. There’s nothing better than getting out, enjoying the fresh air, taking in the scenery, and spending time together.

🍂 With fall just around the corner, we’re especially looking forward to more rides as the leaves begin to change and the countryside fills with beautiful autumn colors!

☀️ Sunshine, scenic views, and a little adventure! 🌿🛻

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful ride through the countryside in our accessible UTV, soaking up the sunshine, fresh air, and wonderful scenery along the way! 💛

We made a special stop at Old Country Cheese where residents had the opportunity to shop and sample a variety of delicious cheeses. 🧀 Some tasty treats made the perfect addition to our afternoon adventure!

We’re so thankful for opportunities like these that allow our residents to get out into the community, explore, and make special memories together. 🌳☀️

What a sweet outing! 🍦☀️ Our residents had a wonderful time visiting Nordic Creamery and enjoying a complimentary scoop of their favorite ice cream flavors through their free ice cream tokens! ❤️

There were plenty of smiles as residents indulged in strawberry cheesecake, peanut butter cup, and New York cherry flavors. 🍒🍓🍨

After our sweet treat, we cruised around the beautiful city of Westby before taking a scenic drive down the country roads. We soaked up the sunshine, enjoyed the gorgeous views, and made some wonderful memories along the way! 🌾☀️😊

What a wonderful outing we had today!

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful scenic ride in the UTV, soaking up the sunshine and taking in the sights along the way. We then headed to Trail Side Diner Westby, Wi for a delicious lunch! 😋 Residents enjoyed burgers, BLTs, and chicken wraps—and there were plenty of smiles all around!

We especially loved being part of the lively atmosphere and seeing the diner bustling with so many happy customers. It was such a fun way to spend the day together! 💛

A big thank you to our friends at Trailside Diner for welcoming us and accommodating our group. We appreciate you! 🥰

Residents enjoyed a beautiful afternoon exploring the scenic beauty of Timber Coulee on a UTV ride! Along the way, they took in the peaceful countryside, spotting winding trout streams, cows and horses grazing in the pastures, and even eagles soaring overhead. It was a wonderful opportunity to soak up the sunshine, enjoy the fresh air, and admire the beauty of our local community. 🦅🐄🐴🌽☀️

A heartfelt thank you to the Coulee Antique Engine Club for driving your beautiful antique tractors past Norseland Nursing Home so our residents could enjoy a special tractor parade. Your thoughtful gift of a beautiful carnation for each resident made the day even more meaningful.

The parade sparked so many wonderful conversations as residents shared cherished memories of growing up on the farm, driving tractors, and life in the countryside. It was a joy to see so many smiles and hear so many stories.

We’d also like to extend a special thank you to our incredible staff members who went above and beyond to help every interested resident get outside to experience this special event. Your kindness and dedication made it possible for so many to enjoy!

To the Coulee Antique Engine Club and our amazing staff—thank you for creating moments like these. They may seem simple, but they make a lasting impact and bring so much happiness to our residents. We are truly grateful for your generosity, community spirit, and support. 🚜❤️

Congratulations Denali and the other scholarship recipients on your achievement!

Bethany St. Joseph Corporation is honored to announce three outstanding CNAs, Melany Gonzalez-Arriaga, Jayda Berg, & Denali Huebner, as the 2026 Adele M. Stolder Scholarship recipients.🌟

Melany Gonzalez-Arriaga is our first scholarship recipient. Melany’s dedication to caring for others is evident in everything she does at Marinuka Manor. Her compassion, perseverance, and commitment to both her education and her residents reflect the qualities of an exceptional future nurse. As she pursues her Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Winona State University, Melany is working toward her dream of becoming a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse, where she hopes to provide comfort and expert care to infants and their families.

Jayda Berg, our second scholarship recipient, emphasized that working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Onalaska Care Center has strengthened her passion for healthcare and affirmed her desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Jayda is currently studying Biology: Allied Health at Winona State University and plans to continue her education to become a Physician Assistant. Her caring nature, dedication to learning, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care have made Jayda a valued member of the BSJ team.

Denali Huebner, our third scholarship recipient, has built a strong foundation for her nursing career through her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Norseland Nursing Home. Entering her senior year of nursing school, she continues to excel academically while gaining valuable hands-on experience that will prepare her for a career as a Registered Nurse. In addition to maintaining dean's list honors at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, Denali will have the opportunity to study abroad, expanding her perspective on healthcare and enriching her nursing education. Her drive to learn, commitment to excellence, and passion for serving others make her an outstanding scholarship recipient.

We are looking forward to this special event! Thank you Coulee Antique Engine Club for including us in your community engagement efforts! 🚜❤️

Beautiful full moon rising over the club grounds tonight. One more day of setup then showtime!! Remember our short tractor ride tomorrow evening. A special note, we will be driving through the parking lot of Norseland Nursing Home so the residents can get to see the tractors. We want to get as many tractors as possible to participate so they can enjoy a part of our show. We’ll leave at 6pm, Thursday night, drive through norseland, and then go for ice cream at Nordic Creamery and come back to the grounds. So, grab your tractor and let’s kick off our show in a big way.

A heartfelt thank you to our friends Sweet Valley Artisans for welcoming us during our visit! 🍦 We had a wonderful time enjoying fresh ice cream, sampling delicious fudge, and exploring everything your beautiful shop has to offer.

The fun didn’t stop there—we finished the day with a relaxing drive through the scenic Timber Coulee countryside on our way home. It was a perfect outing filled with sweet treats, shared smiles and laughter, beautiful views, and even better company.
