• The Custer County School District offers many adademic opportunities, including Advanced Placement courses, online
courses, partnerships with colleges for credit, and numerous electives.
• The School boasts multiple Boettcher, Daniels and Hurliman scholarship winners.
• GOT-IT Program - Graduation On Time through Internet Technology. This is an educator supervised online program.
• State recognition for students in Choir, FFA, athletics and other extra-curricular activities. Community Support
• Excellence in Education – a partnership between the School Board and the Community Foundation that provides an allvolunteer
fundraising and facilitation committee.
• VOICE4C1 Program - Community volunteers helping with math, reading, writing and science; assisting with college and
career planning; helping with drama productions, the Invention Convention, Local History night, the playground and library,
tutoring and mentoring.
• Adopt-A-Class (AAC) program to connect individual community volunteers with a class, cause, and/or grade level and
through these connections fill unmet needs within the School District.
