This afternoon, emergency crews responded to a reported roll over crash on Highway 96 in the S curves.
An off duty EMT stopped to render aid as did a retired Custer County School teacher.

Upon investigation the vehicle didn't roll, it flipped end over end. Crews credited the drivers use of their seatbelt which prevented serious injury.

Due to no cell phone coverage crews were able to radio dispatch to call the young woman's fiance. He was able to respond directly to the hospital.

The retired Custer County school teacher, offered to loan her car to the woman in the crash so she could continue commuting back and forth to Pueblo each day.
