🧬 Hands-On Learning in AP Biology! 🫘

AP Biology students put natural selection into action with a hands-on investigation! Students collected data, modeled how environmental pressures can affect which traits are more successful, graphed their results, and connected their observations to evolution by natural selection.

Activities like this give students the opportunity to see, measure, and analyze evolution instead of simply reading about it. 📊🔬

And just like that, our first month of school is in the books! 💙 August was filled with new beginnings, familiar faces, new friendships, lots of learning, plenty of smiles, and so many special moments that made the start of this school year one to remember.

From welcoming our students back to the excitement of learning, activities, school spirit, and everything in between, our halls have been full of energy! 🥰

We are so thankful for our amazing students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and everyone who helps make OMHS and WG Elementary such a special place to be.

🐻 Bear Pride at the Newton County Fair! 🏆

Our Bears showed up ready to compete and represented our school well at the Newton County Fair! We are proud of the hard work, dedication, and time our students put into their livestock projects—and excited to celebrate their accomplishments in the show ring.
