Author Nancy Collander joined us to tell her story of 16 dogs and the 16 life lessons they taught her about the power of determination. Her book, Through Their Eyes: Reflections on Joy, Loss, and Learning, explores commitment, love, and resilience in the face of hardship.

She read passages from her book about adopting rescue dogs. She beautifully illustrated how they may need us to take them in; but we have so much to learn from their wisdom.

Another wonderful Cricut Craft in the Innovation Lab, this time designing personalized dog treat containers 🐕

Participants were very proud of their designs, and we loved hearing about their dogs and cats – the shark design is in honor of their dog’s very toothy grin.
