Summer is here! Let’s get outside and play! ☀️
We support getting kids outside by hosting Nature Play Days in several of our parks. We’ve been hosting NPD for 12 years! Bring your kids to explore the parks, play on the playground, play games, and/or watch wildlife. Bring lunch and have a picnic, if you like. Our staff will bring bubbles and other fun, easy outdoor activities. Come and join the fun!

FINAL WEEK TO SIGN UP!!

I am so excited for Public Speaking to start in one week! If you have an email lingering, please reply to firm up your student's spot this week. Annddd, if you have a 12 year old, you are now allowed to sign up as well! Current students enrolled are all 13 and 14, so 12 will fit right in :)

The 5 session series is $60 total and payable on the first day of class. Send me an email with any questions or to secure enrollment!

The Westfield Library Foundation's annual Children's Book Writing Contest is back, and this year's theme celebrates America's 250th Birthday!

Write a story about a child or teen who discovers a magical history book in the Westfield Washington Public Library and is whisked away on an unforgettable adventure through America's past.

🏆 Categories: Ages 5-12, 13-17, and 18+
💰 Cash prizes awarded
📖 Winning stories will be published

You can learn more about Academy of Chaos classes at WWPL's annual Homeschool Meet the Teacher Night on Tuesday, June 16, from 5:30 - 7:30, in Program Room 1A. No registration required.

The Academy of Chaos, an approved INESA provider, is a drop-off Learning Pod meeting at the Westfield Washington Public Library, offering classes and events for Indianapolis-area home-educated students.

“Participating in a group learning environment with team structured scaffolding allows students of varying abilities to participate in a positive, supportive way with a focus on strengths rather than weaknesses,” says founder Jean Lee.

The most popular classes will be offered as summer camps through University High School in July.
