Update: Due to the special type of glass needed, we are told it will not be in until likely the first week of January. So, a little longer than we hoped. We will still be open to the public this weekend 10-5pm to visit, climb the tower and make any last minute purchases in the gift shop. Then our site will close until next Memorial Day weekend.

Unfortunately, one of the glass panes on the lantern has broken. So, the tower light is temporarily off while we get it replaced and then National Fuel comes to re-light it; should only be a couple of days. Thank you for your patience in the dark 💡

The weather was iffy, but we had a great ribbon cutting yesterday!
The Tower will open to the public on May 24.

Please note, for safety, there are a few rules to be able to ascend. If you are not an adult, you must be at least 54" tall and be with an adult. Appropriate footwear (no flip flops, bare feet, or high heels) required.
The cottage has a mock up of the alternate step ladder and some other physical requirements to meet before being able to ascend.

Work continues on Phase 1… the new cedar shake roof is completed!

Progress continues on Phase 1 of the lighthouse project. The Tower is well underway and so are the new gift shop and restrooms (old garage). This phase should be complete by next spring!
Note: After Labor Day we reduce back to weekends only hours, 10am-5pm, for the Keeper's Cottage Museum and Gift Shop.

Work is underway on the Barcelona Lighthouse Rehabilitation project! We will be under construction for most of the year.
The Keeper's Cottage Museum and Gift Shop are open Daily 10am-4pm through Labor Day.
For safety, we ask that folks stay away from construction equipment and areas and follow all signage - use the cottage front door only for now. Thank you!
