One of our visitors had 3 bags plus couple small items drop out of the back end of their vehicle.
We have them at the pier, Barcelona Harbor on route 5.
I'm sending one clue because I want you to come back to get it. Do you recognize the photo. I didn't find your name on anything.
I will ask several questions ( in private:) so I can be sure its you.
I want at least 2 names of the books you're reading. Also, the color of the 2 bags.
What is in the smaller bag.

Someone has lost his drone in the lake. If anyone sees it, please pull-out if able, and bring to the pier office. It may have gone under water.
He has some important photos from a wedding, that means a lot to him.
The photo, he sent me, shows the location of where it went down.
Thank to all who help find it.

Free Fishing Day on Saturday, September 28th
National Hunting and Fishing Day, Saturday, September 28th is a designated free fishing day in New York. Anyone can fish the freshwaters of the state and no fishing license is required. It’s the perfect time to introduce a friend or relative to fishing. Anglers must abide by all New York State fishing regulations during the free fishing day.

Just had a memory moment.
Every day I have the privilege of raising the American flag at Barcelona Harbor. As I raise it I sing a patriotic song, yesterday, God Bless America, this morning it was America the Beautiful. The flag was up but I was still singing as I turned around to see a true military man, decked out with his combat uniform and fi****ms, and he was saluting. I couldn't finish singing as I was covered with goose bumps and emotional tears.
I didn't tell him , "Thanks for your service". I was speechless. He is with Border Patrol.
That will stick with me forever.
I hope he sees this.

We still have 2 pair of prescription eye glasses( not from same person) and 1 hearing aid. All are an expensive loss.
Please come up to the pier's office.
They were found on the beach or right in the deck.
If not claimed soon, we will donate to an organization that will get to someone who needs it.

We will be giving our fishermen luncheon on August 21st, Wednesday, as we did last year. We are trying to have sign up sheet this time, to make sure we have enough food. That will be ready in a week or so. Please spread the news to other Barcelona fishermen that don't have Facebook, but are here often.

Our guests are only regular Barcelona fishermen or fisherwomen or our out of states guests that come up here regularly. We also personally invite some of our guys who fished here for many years gone by.

I will post any updates.
