Some good information about the upcoming LIV Golf tournament and road closures!

LIV Golf Indianapolis returns to The Club at Chatham Hills from August 20–23, bringing four days of professional golf and live entertainment to Westfield.
Attendees are encouraged to review event times, parking information, road closures and accessibility details before arriving.

Event Schedule
Thursday, August 20 — Round 1
- Gates, hospitality areas, and the Fan Village open at 10:30 a.m.
- Play begins at 1:15 p.m.

Friday, August 21 — Round 2
- Gates, hospitality areas, and the Fan Village open at 9:30 a.m.
- Play begins at 12:15 p.m.
- *Thomas Rhett performs at 5 p.m.

Saturday, August 22 — Round 3
- Gates, hospitality areas, and the Fan Village open at 8:30 a.m.
- Play begins at 11:15 a.m.
- *Disco Lines performs at 4 p.m.

Sunday, August 23 — Round 4 and Finale
- Gates, hospitality areas, and the Fan Village open at 11:30 am
- Play begins at 2:05 p.m.

*Concert admission is included with a LIV Golf Indianapolis ticket.

All general event parking will be located just north of Grand Park at:
308 E. 191st Street. Free shuttles will transport attendees between the parking area and The Club at Chatham Hills. Shuttles will run continuously each event day, beginning 30 minutes before gates open. The final shuttle will leave The Club at Chatham Hills one hour after play or the concert concludes.

The following road closures will be in place to support event traffic and public safety:

Cox Avenue between Chatham Ridge Boulevard and Chatham Pointe Lane
- Monday, August 17 at 7 a.m. through Monday, August 24 at 9 a.m.

Tomlinson Road between Cox Avenue and East 199th Street
- Thursday, August 20: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Friday, August 21: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Saturday, August 22: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Sunday, August 23: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Drivers should plan alternate routes and allow additional travel time throughout the event.

As Westfield continues to grow, our commitment to keeping our city and neighborhoods safe remains stronger than ever. I'm proud to share that while our population is rising, our local crime rate continues to decline. This is a clear testament to the proactive work of our police officers and the strength of our community.

This week, I joined mayors, police chiefs, and county prosecutors from across Central Indiana for another discussion on public safety, collaboration, and solutions. This Regional Mayors' Public Safety Partnership Summit was focused on the entire criminal justice system and addressing the gaps that allow repeat offenders back into our communities. We must work across county lines to strengthen communication, improve information sharing, and ensure justice policies hold dangerous, repeat offenders accountable.

Happy birthday to Westfield’s own Bob Whitmoyer. Bob was born and raised in Westfield, served in the US Army during WW2, and turns 100 today!!! Needless to say Bob has seen Westfield change since his birth and told me there were 602 residents when he returned home from the war. Please join me in wishing Bob 100 years more!

LIV Golf is offering up to 2 complimentary grounds passes per day for active military and veterans. Please present your military credentials at the ‘Ticket Resolution’ window upon arrival at the main gate, where staff members will process your tickets for entry. These tickets cannot be purchased in advance; they must be walk-up.

Join Westfield's Parks & Recreation Department on Thursday, August 20, at 9:00 AM for the grand reopening of Simon Moon Park (3044 E 171st Street) near the new playground!

The ribbon cutting ceremony is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

Please be aware that Citizens Energy is purging their lines and putting in a new odorizer this afternoon. This will come online tomorrow. Unfortunately the process is causing a large volume of gas odors in homes and businesses. If you notice an odor call Citizens to report. WFD is happy to respond to check for any hazards if needed.
