Westford Easter Egg Hunt - A Hoptacular Eggvent

Hoppy Easter Week Everyone!!!

This Saturday at 10:00am, we'll be clucking it up at the Westford Common for the kiddos to shell-ebrate Easter with our annual Easter Egg Hunt!!!

As in years past, we will separate the kiddos by age range, then they scramble to whisk up as many eggs in their basket as they can! Even if they get one egg, everybunny gets an Easter bag!

This year, our bunny bags were filled with an egg-cellent assortment of chocolates from Lake Champlain Chocolates! This is no yolk, Lake Champlain Chocolates has donated their egg-stravagantly wonderful chocolates to this clucktacular event for five [5] years!!!!!

So tell your little chicks & bunnies to hop or flap over to The Common for some eggs-ercise and chocolates while we hope for the weather to be sunny side up!

Thank you to all who came out to the Westford Turkey Trot on Saturday. There was a record number of participants (240!), muddy roads, turkey hats, and dry skies!

The event raised $2454 for Children and Families in Westford. These funds are distributed by the Westford Recreation Department to events and programs such as The Westford Halloween Walk, Library Tea Tree for Expecting Mothers, Summer Concert Series, 4th of July Band, scholarships for participants of Westford Recreation programs like soccer and basketball, and improvements to the Ice Rink, which is back this year!
