Today we had the privilege of meeting Elizabeth Sultan at Westhampton Beach High School and presenting her with the First Place grant check in recognition of her powerful work through Peter’s Packages.

Born from personal loss, Elizabeth turned grief into purpose—creating a project that supports others, sparks conversations around mental health, and reminds us all of the power of compassion and community. Her strength, leadership, and heart are truly inspiring.

We are so proud to celebrate Elizabeth and the incredible impact she is already making. This is what leadership in action looks like.

Team Up 4 Community founder Steve Webb joined the 2026 MIAA Student Ambassador Huddle to discuss the power of service and help student leaders turn ideas into action. From meaningful conversations to real impact, students took what they learned and led food drives in their own communities to support those in need.

We are proud to celebrate the Daniela Conte Foundation Gold Shoelace Campaign and the incredible impact it has had across Long Island. More than 30 high schools and 15 youth programs came together to stand with children fighting cancer. Long Island athletes showed what it means to support families when they need it most.
