Greater Westhampton Historical Museum The Greater Westhampton Historical Museum preserves and promotes the history of the area. Check the Society's website for a schedule of events.

The Tuthill House Museum at 101 Mill Rd is open to the public on Saturdays June-September and by appointment. The Museum has "period rooms" from the 1800's and features a new exhibit every summer. On the Museum grounds there is a carriage house containing a farm tool display and a two-seater privy! Also on the grounds is the Foster-Meeker House which is being restored and will serve as an educati

onal center for children and adults alike. Yard Sale fund raisers are often held in the Foster-Meeker house in June and October. www.whbhistorical.org

Our Anchored in History Gala Fundraiser is almost here, and online sales close this Thursday, June 4th. After that, we’ll have just 10 tickets at the door. Once those are gone, we have to start turning folks away.

There is a special evening on the horizon here at the Greater Westhampton Historical Museum, and we would love to see you there. On Thursday, June 4th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, we are gathering at the Westhampton Yacht Squadron for our Annual Opening Gala, a night dedicated to celebrating the history and community that make this area so special.

We will be enjoying hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and a lively auction featuring some truly wonderful items and experiences. It is always such a joy to bring together the people who support our mission of preserving the stories and historic places of Westhampton Beach and the surrounding areas.

Tickets are $75 for Museum Members and $100 for Non-Members, and must be purchased by May 21st. You can secure yours online at the link below. If you prefer to pay by check, our PO Box is PO Box 686, Westhampton Beach, 11978. You are also welcome to call the museum to arrange an in-person visit, or pay over the phone.
