Germany continues to play into the hands of the CCP. The systematic destruction of western civilization and the industrial su***de that goes along with it is on full display not only in Germany, but most of Europe.

Greed led their automakers to get into bed with China. They allowed their IP to be stolen and then went along with the Chinese invented EV scam, costing each of these companies tens of billions of dollars. That’s money that should have been invested to improve their products and modernize their factories. To make it worse, their politicians were more concerned with social virtue signaling than protecting their working class. They shut down energy, became reliant on Russia, allowed millions of illegal migrants to invade their country and cripple their safety net, and then welcomed Chinese predatory auto companies into their market. They thought playing with the dragon would lead to profits. They found out the dragon would eat them alive.

This is exactly what DC Democrats wanted to do to America and were well on their way before November of 2024. With the leadership of President Trump, Republicans reversed all of these insane policies. We are driving towards energy dominance, total control of our borders, tariffs to ensure fair access to our market, tax policies that reward investment, and a regulatory framework that encourages work.

The final piece of the puzzle for the US auto industry will be passing the Connected Vehicle Security Act to permanently and hermetically seal off the US from the CCP mobile spying devices dressed up as transportation.

If Oliver Blume wants to fix his company, he needs to start by encouraging his countries leaders to actually care about its citizens. No amount of “corporate restructuring” will ensure VW’s survival.

My office has learned that an illegal alien granted a drivers license by the state of Connecticut killed a 29 year old Ohioan in a reckless driving accident. While one death alone is an inexcusable tragedy, Connecticut has granted over 60,000 such licenses to illegal aliens, putting countless Americans at risk on the roads. This insanity has to stop.

I am calling on Connecticut’s Governor to immediately apologize for his state’s role in this tragedy while also account for exactly how many illegals have been given Connecticut drivers licenses and whether or not they have used them to vote in U.S. elections.

DC Democrats spent decades propping up socialists and narcoterrorists in our own backyard. President Trump is the only president who had the guts to defund USAID, stop sending taxpayer dollars to socialists, and smash the Maduro cartel that spent decades flooding our country with drugs while funneling oil to China, Cuba, and Russia.

We were honored to welcome United States Senator Bernie Moreno to the Rio Grande McArthur Center today!

It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our new facility and discuss the many ways this investment will expand opportunities for students, employers, and families throughout our community. We were proud to highlight our partnerships with OhioMeansJobs and Holzer Clinic, our increased capacity for education and workforce training, and our new community event space designed to serve organizations and residents across the region.

We especially appreciated Senator Moreno and his staff taking the time to discuss the unique opportunities and challenges facing Appalachian Ohio, and to share their perspective on strengthening our region through workforce development, healthcare access, education, and continued economic growth.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share what is happening here in McArthur and the exciting possibilities ahead for the communities we serve.

Rio is more than an Institution of Higher Learning, we are a household name in local communities making commitments to blaze a trail and changing tomorrows with our friends and neighbors!
