🦖Step into the world of paleontology and sign-up for our Teen Dinosaur Trackways program at wpl.link/track

On Tuesday, August 11, representatives from the University of Michigan Natural History Museum will be on hand to go over the clues paleontologists discover when looking at dinosaur footprints and trackways. Attendees will get to go hands-on with real fossils and create their own trackways!

We've got some great programs happening for teens heading into Grades 7 – 12 this week with spots still open! Head on over to our event calendar at westlandlibrary.org/events to sign-up

This Thursday at 3 PM, we have our Wildlife Protectors program, where teens will have the chance over the course of two weeks to become a Wildlife Ambassador and get a free trip to the Detroit Zoo!

Then on Friday at 1 PM, teens are invited to a showing of the movie Jurassic Park at our Teen Movie Day! Sit back, enjoy some snacks and relax as we host a screening of this dino spectacular!

Looking to relax and take a break after school? Join our new cozy book club as we read cozy mysteries on Tuesday, April 21 at 4 PM, sign-up at wpl.link/bundle

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to join our Teen Bundle Up with Books group! This group focuses on a different genre of book every month, and gets together to engage in an hour of quiet reading with a book of their choosing, and snacks in the company of others. Open discussion will close out the group meeting.

It's time to prepare for the SAT, and the Westland Library is here to help! Teens in Grades 9 – 12 are invited to take our Teen SAT Boot Camp to get ready for the actual test on Saturday, April 11 from 1 – 4 PM
