Infant Massage

Infant massage is a wonderful way to bond with your baby while also supporting their development. Participants will learn about the many benefits of massage as well as a number of massage techniques. Bring your baby and a blanket for this 3-week hands-on workshop. Teacher is an experienced infant massage instructor. This is for babies, ages 3 weeks to crawling and their parents/caregivers. Pregnant parents are welcome!

This summer, the Westland Public Library partnered with Wayne RESA and the Detroit Zoo to bring the Junior Wildlife Program to our community! Through hands-on activities, books and interactive learning experiences, families explored conservation challenges facing local and global endangered species. The program empowered young conservationists to discover how they can make a positive impact for wildlife both locally and around the world. The experience culminated with a visit to the Detroit Zoo. We were thrilled to engage more than 120 youth and adults through this exciting partnership!
