In alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5400.17 and recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the United States Marine Corps has reviewed and adjusted its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. Gas Gas Gas!

Recruits with India Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, experience the Gas Chamber during chemical, biological, radioactive and nuclear (CBRN) training on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C., April 3, 2023.

During CBRN training, recruits are exposed to gas agents in order to familiarize themselves with the use of a gas mask.
