🎂 Happy Heavenly Birthday, Charlie Kirk! 🇺🇸🙏

Today, we remember Charlie Kirk, a courageous voice who inspired a generation of young Americans to stand firm in their faith, defend freedom, and never be afraid to speak the truth.

Charlie’s legacy of faith in Jesus Christ, love for our country, and commitment to freedom will continue to inspire generations to come. Although his life was tragically cut short, the seeds he planted in the hearts of millions will continue to grow.

As a Christian and a public servant, I am reminded that we are called to stand boldly for our convictions, even when it is difficult. May we honor Charlie’s legacy by continuing to defend our constitutional freedoms, share the Gospel, and encourage the next generation to lead with courage and conviction.

Help keep Westminster clean and beautiful! Clear out your bulky items, unwanted furniture and yard waste for free during our citywide Neighborhood Beautification Days, led by the Code Enforcement Division and Public Works Department.

✨ Join us for our first drop-off event this Saturday, Oct. 3, at Bowling Green Park (14700 Bowling Green) in District 4. Drop-off bins, staff and volunteers will be ready to help from 8 a.m. to noon.

✅ Accepted Items: Furniture, yard waste, bicycles, suitcases, tires, tools, toys and small household goods.
❌ Prohibited Items: Mattresses, e-waste (batteries), corded appliances, auto parts and liquids.

Today, my alleged bribery case was dropped, and I am deeply thankful to God for fighting for me, my family, my dignity, and my character.

As the Councilwoman for Westminster District 1, I know some activists and critics hoped this case would continue so they could end my re-election and my service to our community. But God is so good. My future is in His hands.

I am grateful to the judge for carefully applying the law, and I have learned much from this experience. I am also deeply thankful to my attorney, Randy Collins, for his excellent representation and defense.

Most importantly, I thank my husband, children, parents, and supporters who stood by me, prayed for me, and came to court—you know who you are. Your love and support carried me through.

To those who wanted to harm me and my family, I choose to pray for you rather than respond with anger. I know that you need Jesus just as much as I do. I pray that God brings you peace, wisdom, and healing.

God is faithful. He fought for me, sustained my family, and today I give Him all the glory. 🙏🇺🇸

With God’s grace, I will continue serving the people of Westminster District 1 with faith, dignity, and integrity.

GKN announced today that it will launch a claims program to provide up to $100 million for eligible residents and businesses seeking to resolve claims for damages incurred in connection with the May evacuation order. Over the coming weeks, GKN will provide more details on the program, which is targeted to open in fall 2026 for submissions. Payments for eligible claims will follow thereafter.

🚨CALIFORNIA FAMILIES DESERVE AFFORDABLE TIRES! 🚨

The California Energy Commission is moving forward with regulations that could reduce the number of replacement tire choices available to California drivers.

As a Councilwoman and advocate for working families, I am concerned about what this could mean for higher costs, fewer affordable options, and additional burdens on small businesses.

🚗 Tires are a necessity—not a luxury. Families should not have to choose between putting safe tires on their vehicles and paying their other household bills.

I am calling on the California Energy Commission to listen to tire manufacturers, small businesses, retailers, and working families before moving forward.
