๐Ÿ“ฃ The application period has been extended! Apply by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, for one open seat on the City of Westminster Citizens Oversight Committee (Measure Y/E).

Members review annual financial statements, midyear budget reports and Measure Y/E tax revenues to advise the City Council. Applicants must be residents and submit an application, signed Code of Ethics, utility bill and ID copy to [email protected] to be considered at the Oct. 28 City Council meeting.

๐Ÿ”น Westminsterโ€™s citywide cleanup effort moves into District 3 this Saturday with another free bulky item disposal event!

Join the City of Westminster for Neighborhood Beautification Day this Saturday, Oct. 17 from 8 a.m. to noon at Westminster Park, 14402 Magnolia St.

Enjoy FREE disposal of household clutter and unwanted items, courtesy of the cityโ€™s Code Enforcement Division, Midway City Sanitary District and Public Works Division.

โœ… Accepted items include furniture, yard waste, bicycles, suitcases, tires, tools, toys and small household goods.

โŒ Prohibited items include mattresses, e-waste, corded appliances, auto parts and liquids.

๐Ÿ“ธ Check out the photos from last weekโ€™s successful event at Sigler Park. Thank you to Midway City Sanitary District for collaborating on this project and donating disposal bins to make this community cleanup possible.
