Over the last few days, we witnessed something truly extraordinary at Westminster Terrace Senior Living.
In response to the nearby emergency situation in Orange County, our teams came together quickly to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents. Some residents were temporarily relocated to sister communities, some returned home with family, and others remained safely in place with additional support and care.
What stood out most was the overwhelming spirit of collaboration.
One of Oxford Health Group’s core values is collaboration; the ability to work as one unified team with a shared goal in mind. Over the last few days, we saw that value come to life in the most meaningful way.
From our Home Health and Hospice partners, to our regional and corporate teams, to our sister communities, and even neighboring assisted living communities offering support, everyone came together for one purpose: caring for our residents.
Staff members arrived in the middle of the night to help welcome residents with warmth and reassurance. Department heads stayed late and returned early. Communities opened their doors without hesitation. Families, caregivers, nurses, dining teams, drivers, and leadership all stepped up in remarkable ways.
Because at the heart of senior living is people caring for people.
We are deeply grateful to every team member, family, partner, and community who supported Westminster Terrace during this time. Your compassion, teamwork, and dedication reminded us exactly why this work matters so much.
And most importantly, our residents are safe, supported, and preparing to return home.
Thank you for standing with us.
