Supporting CCFS helps Carroll Farmers Markets and the Local small Family farms you find there.
The CCFS "Veggie Voucher" Program is now in its 17th year. over that time it has not only exposed CCFS Families to all the products of our local, small farm operations, it has injected significant funds into that same Local economy.
Community Harvest, Friday August 14 at the Carroll Arts Center is a film and discussion event to raise awareness and funds for CCFS programs.
A screening of the documentary film, “Fresh”, will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.
“Fresh” 2009- 1h 12m, documents Community gardens, and farmers who are using sustainable and humane methods to grow crops and livestock.
“Fresh celebrates the farmers, thinkers and business people across America who are re-inventing our food system… Forging healthier, sustainable alternatives, they offer a practical vision for a future of our food and our planet.”
