Westminster Municipal Band

Westminster Municipal Band Since 1893, the Westminster Municipal Band has been providing great music in Carroll County and surrounding areas playing concerts and parades.

The Westminster Municipal Band is an all volunteer marching/concert band that welcomes all levels of musicianship. We are always looking for new members who have musical training on their chosen instrument. Rehearsals are held on Monday nights 7-8:30pm at our Band Hall. Our rehearsal season is September-May with a break over the winter holidays. We are the "Official Band of the Maryland State Firefighters Association Convention" playing for convention activities each June in Ocean City.

My favorite end-of-the-summer event takes place this Sunday, August 23rd at 6:00 pm in Historic Belle Grove Square when the Westminster Municipal Band hosts their yearly August concert. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the sounds of a marching band - including a wonderful selection of patriotic pieces this Sunday. Plus, the weather looks perfect!
