**Foundation to Finish Friday**
Windows, Stairwells & MEP Rough-Ins, Oh My! 🪟🪜🔧❤️
Another week. Another big leap forward at The Home That LOVE Built! 🏠❤️
Last week, we celebrated having windows and talked about how the eyes are the windows to the soul. This week, we’re getting an even better glimpse of what’s happening inside—and it’s pretty exciting!
Here’s what happened on site this week:
🪟 Window installation continues!
🧱 The retaining wall is in!
🪜 Both sets of stairwell steps have been poured!
🚿 Sprinkler rough-ins have begun!
🔧 MEP rough-ins continue throughout the building!
And now for a little sneak peek inside… 👀❤️
The rooms are coming to life!
With the stud framing going up, we can finally begin to see the spaces that have lived on paper and in our imaginations for so long.
You can start to walk through the building and picture where people will gather, where programs will happen, where help will be offered, and where neighbors will find a welcoming place when they need it most.
The rooms are taking shape—and so is the vision. 🏠❤️
It’s amazing how a few walls made of studs can make a dream suddenly feel so real.
And as exciting as it is to see the physical building coming together, we know that the true soul of The Home That LOVE Built won’t be found in the wood, brick, windows, or wiring.
It will be found in the people who walk through these doors.
Hope. Compassion. Dignity. Love.
That’s what we’re building.
Piece by piece. Room by room. Heart by heart. ❤️
And while construction continues, so does our effort to bring the capital campaign home.
We still have naming opportunities available, and we still need our community’s help to complete this project. Every gift—large or small—helps us move closer to opening these doors and creating a permanent home for The Shepherd’s Staff.
A home where our neighbors will find help without judgment, compassion without conditions, dignity without question, and hope when they need it most.
