Help protect your vehicle and reduce the risk of catalytic converter theft by following these simple prevention measures. While any vehicle can be targeted, Toyota vehicles are among the most commonly targeted.

✔️Park in well-lit areas
✔️Consider a catalytic converter shield or anti-theft device
✔️Install cameras or motion-sensor lighting
✔️Etch your VIN or license plate number on your converter
✔️Use vehicle alarms when available

Yesterday, WPD Detectives served a search warrant at a residence off Riverton Cr due to multiple citizen complaints of possible criminal activity and suspected drug sales. Upon serving the warrant 23 people were detained. The following was recovered during the warrant:

318 grams of methamphetamine
52 grams of fentanyl
10 grams of he**in
87 fentanyl pills (35 grams)

A total of 7 subjects were arrested for outstanding warrants and felony drug sales related charges.

This is another instance of WPD working to keep the city safe!

This course is for those ages 14-18 looking to explore the world of forensics.
