Today marked a major milestone for the Village of Westmont as we officially broke ground on the future home of the Westmont Fire Department.

This new station represents an investment in the safety, service, and future of our community. Designed to support the needs of our firefighters and the residents we proudly serve, the facility will enhance emergency response capabilities while providing a modern space for training, operations, and community engagement.

Thank you to the Village leadership, project partners, elected officials, firefighters, and community members who joined us to celebrate this exciting day. We look forward to watching this project take shape and continuing our commitment to protecting the Westmont community for generations to come.

Today, the members of the Westmont Fire Department pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer — it is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to all veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families for their continued service and sacrifice.

As you gather with family and friends today, please take a moment to remember our fallen heroes.

It’s officially week! Plan your DUNKIN' run for Fri. May 15th from 5am-12pm. Swing by, grab a coffee, and show your support for these amazing athletes. WPD, volunteers, and special guests will be on-site collecting donations. Cash and credit accepted! We also have coffee cups, t-shirts, and hats for sale. Thank you for supporting this event!
