While you are enjoying your Labor Day Weekend, we recommend that you make plans now for next weekend's VISION & VIBE ART FESTIVAL at the Park District Park Place Facility at 141 S. Linden, Sept. 12 & 13, 11a-7p each day. Hosted by the Village of Westmont with assistance from Westmont Special Events, the event will feature over 40 visual artists, more than 30 musicians, 4 dance companies, kid's activities, a community art project, food & beverage, and more. The entire program puts a spotlight on local artists & musicians, including photography by Westmont Village Manager Jim Gunther, and original songs by CUSD201 music teacher Alison Maris, pictured below.
