It’s not too late to join summer reading and earn cool prizes! Register on Beanstack or pick up a paper log at Westmont Public Library.

Westmont Public Library would like to thank the hardworking Scouts of Troop 55 for spending their Saturday morning digging up day lilies!

These enthusiastic individuals dug up more plants than we were able to count, helping us make space for some pollinator-friendly natives.

In previous years, we've relied on Troop 55 for a number of projects. This may have been their biggest and we're sincerely grateful for their time and extraordinary efforts.

The exceptionally hard-working Scouts from Troop 55 have spent the morning removing day lilies from in front of the Library, to make room for some pollinator-friendly native plants.

All the day lilies they have removed are availalbe at the Library on a first come, self serve basis now through Sunday, June 21.

Feel free to stop by and take as many as you can plant!

On Saturday, Scouts from Troop 55 will be at the Library to dig up some day lilies, making room for more pollinator-friendly natives in the area in front of the Library.

Those day lilies will be available to be picked up starting late Saturday afternoon into Sunday. Please feel free to stop by the garden area of the Library to help yourself.

The lilies will be available on a first come, self serve basis, while they last!

It's a beautiful weekend to be to outdoors and Miss Adrian has an excellent way for you to get out and and get your steps in—A StoryWalk at Diane Main Park!

This month, the StoryWalk around the lake features the book Tiny Owl's Scary Day by Petr Horacek.

Visit Diane Main Park—200 W 59th Street—and simply follow the path around the lake, reading signs placed along the trail, to take in the full story.

This StoryWalk will be available through Monday.
