We love it when our fire department grows, especially when it involves tiny blessings.

Capt. Aaron Mandrell and his wife Victoria Mandrell have welcomed their baby girl, Kaybree, to the world.

Although baby girl needs a little extra love from the NICU, both mama and baby are doing wonderful.

Welcome Kaybree to the WFD Family!

Starting July 1, 2026, it is now a FELONY to assault a first responder who is trying to serve their community. Unfortunately, this kind of treatment our first responders have received has become more common. We are so grateful to those that have spoken up for the first responders in our great state and helped make this happen!

🎆HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA! 250 beautiful years for our great country.🎇

We know there will be plenty of fireworks happening, both professional and personal. Please remember to be safe when having fun. There are things to call 911 about, and some things you don't call 911 about, so be sure to be prepared just in case.

Every year we have someone get injured, most of the time someone has lost a digit from holding fireworks. Don't be that person. This is also an example of what to call 911 for 😉 It's hard to give a thumbs up, when you don't have thumbs 👍🏻

We've shared some tips below. Be smart, stay safe, and enjoy the company you have!

Yall, it's HOT 🥵🥵

And not just your average summer day hot.

Hot like sitting in a hottub for 8 hours or baking in an oven all day long hot 🔥🔥

We are sweating just thinking about how hot it is 🥴

As of right now, it's looking to be close to 3 digits this week, with a heat index of 115° in some areas!

We have some tips to stay safe during this heat wave. Please, be safe out there. If you think anyone may be in danger or have any heat-related medical concerns, please remember to call 911!

May we never forget the ones who didn't make it home and the families of the lost.

Their sacrifice, their courage, their strength, and their love for our country will never be forgotten, nor taken for granted.

We are eternally grateful for those men and women ❤️🤍💙
