This work represents the remainder of the paving planned for this phase of the project.

🚧 Street Milling Update – Road Improvement Project 🚧

The Department of Public Works is working closely with our contractor as street improvements continue throughout the community.

Over the next several days, crews will be milling the streets listed below. This schedule is for milling only. Milling removes the top layer of existing asphalt to create a smooth, stable surface for new pavement. Once milling is complete, asphalt paving will follow. We hope to have an update on the paving schedule soon and will share that information as soon as it is available.

Tentative Milling Schedule (weather and conditions permitting):

Tuesday:• Prospect• Walnut• Edwards• Summer• 1000 & 1100 blocks of Thomas• 400 block of Blackhawk• 700 block of Market

Wednesday (anticipated):• Two blocks of Rock Street• Spring & Cherry intersection• Possibly the 200–300 blocks of Thomas

Thursday (if needed):• 200–300 blocks of Thomas

⚠️ Traffic Advisory: Milling on the 200–300 blocks of Thomas will temporarily affect access for residents on High and Ellis.

Residents will still be able to enter and exit the area, but they may experience brief delays while crews and equipment are actively working.

Please use caution when traveling through work zones, watch for workers and equipment, and consider alternate routes when possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as the Department of Public Works and our contractor work together to complete these improvements.

We look forward to providing an update on when asphalt paving will begin as soon as that information is confirmed.
