Dear CIE Families,
This is your final reminder to complete the Device Issuance Opt-In Form through
the Focus Parent Portal before August 10, 2026.

Students who do not complete the opt-in process will continue to use school-based
devices while on campus.

Need help accessing Focus?

School staff will be available throughout the summer to assist families with:

• Creating or accessing Focus Parent Portal accounts
• Password resets
• Navigating the Focus platform
• Completing the Device Issuance Opt-In Form

participate in the One-to-One Laptop Issuance Program.

Dear BCPS Families,

This is a reminder to complete the Device Issuance Opt-In Form in the Focus
Parent Portal.

Students participating in the program will receive a district-issued laptop
beginning in August. Families are responsible for helping students care for and
appropriately use district devices.

Dear CIE Families,

Broward County Public Schools is pleased to offer eligible students the
opportunity to receive a district-issued take-home laptop beginning in August.

To participate, families must complete the Device Issuance Opt-In Form in the
Focus Parent Portal no later than August 10, 2026.

Participation in the program will help ensure students have access to
technology resources that support learning, communication, and academic
success.

If you need assistance accessing the Focus Parent Portal, your child’s school will
be available throughout the summer to provide support. Schools will also offer
assistance to help families complete the Device Issuance Opt-In Form and
access important student information.
