A massive THANK YOU to an anonymous member of the community who donated brand new gym equipment, pictured above. One machine is at our HQ and another machine is at our Station 2. Contributions like this make a real difference in expanding the resources our firefighters have available to train and stay fit to serve 🏋🏻💪🏼🏋🏻‍♀️

Yesterday, members of Group 1 got it done! Our neighboring town of Wayland had a 2nd alarm structure fire, which our Ladder 1 and C2 responded to and assisted with fire suppression efforts. Great job by all companies involved!

MUTUAL AID WAYLAND earlier today Ladder 1 and C2 responded to and worked at this 2nd Alarm Fire in Wayland.

Yesterday, Group 3 utilized a training house to practice different rescue techniques. Members simulated a firefighter through the floor, and 2 to 1 hoisting rescue out a window that was converted to a door. Strong work by all involved!

Over the past few weeks, we've had the pleasure of having EMT Lexi Tower ride along with our groups. Yesterday was her last day with us before she returns to school for the Fall semester, and she jumped right into training with us to finish her time strong. Pictured above is Group 4, along with Lexi and her mom Sari.

Thank you Lexi for your hard work, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. We wish you the best of luck with school this year and as you continue your journey as an EMT 🚒🚑☀️😎

PARK RD BRIDGE STRIKE companies are currently on scene on Park Rd where a line painting truck has struck the RR bridge and overturned, personnel stabilized the vehicle and extricated the driver who sustained minor injuries, they will remain on scene for sometime until the truck is safely removed.

Today, members of Group 4 observed the Memorial Pool's team of lifeguards while they trained on simulated emergency scenarios. Great work by all members and involved and thank you for having us! ☀️🕶️🚒

This week, the Weston Fire Department sent 3 of our firefighters off to their full-time Recruit Fire Academy. Over the next 3 months, FF A. Yerardi, FF V. Yerardi, and FF DeRubeis will be challenged physically, mentally, and we are confident they will go above and beyond to ensure they are prepared to serve their community. They all have been working and/or training prior to their academy start date, as pictured above. Best of luck to our 3 FF's and their classmates as well! 🚒💪🏼😃
