The Harmony Area School District is seeking a Full-Time English Teacher (PA Certified in English 7-12).

Cherry Tree Community Days Queen, Prince, and Princess contest. Contest open to all residents of the 15724 zip code. Princess contest ages 3-12. Prince contest ages 3-12. Queen contest ages 13-18. Votes will be $ .25 ea. Contest display will be at Weaver's Market. Please pre-register for the contest and supply a recent color photo and a short bio for the contestant. Crowning will take place Saturday August 1st, 2026 during the celebration at the Chery Tree Ball Fields at 1:30 PM. Deadline to enter will be JUNE 30 th, 2026. Photographs and registration information can be dropped off at Wayne McAndrew Auto Sales or message the Rec Association on here to make arrangements.

To celebrate the end of the school year, Harmony Elementary participated in the Books Are Fun Fundraising Program, helping foster a love of reading among our students. Through this program, every student received at least one book to enjoy and add to their personal library.
As summer begins, we encourage all students to continue reading regularly to help prevent the "summer slide" and maintain the skills they worked so hard to develop throughout the year.
If your child is in need of additional books this summer, please visit the Little Free Library located inside the Cherry Tree Post Office, which has recently been restocked with a variety of reading materials for children.

FREE SUMMER PACKED LUNCHES FOR PICK-UP!!!

This summer, we're excited to offer FREE packed lunches for pick-up for Purchase Line and Harmony Area Students!
We have several convenient pick-up sites available, including:

PLHS - 11:30 am - 12:00 pm
Commodore - 9:30 am - 10:00 am
Glen Campbell - 9:30 am - 10:00 am
Cherry Tree - 10:30 am - 11:00 am
Mahaffey - 10:30 am - 11:00 am

If you would like to sign up to receive these free meals please complete this short sign up using the link below. All children under 18 are eligible for meal pick up. Meals will be delivered on Mondays, providing 5 days worth of breakfasts and lunches for each child signed up.

Sign Ups will close on Tuesday, June 2nd at 2:00 pm.

"HOOT," otherwise known as the Harmony Owls Organized Trap, recently finished up the 2026 season. The team finished in 6th place as a team in the conference. For the males Holden Knittle placed 3rd, and Alex LeGars placed 25th in competition. For the females Hailey Conaway finished 5th, Audrey Alviso 14th, and Sarah Hazelton 18th. Please wish Holden, Hailey, and Audrey luck, as they will be shooting in the state tournament next weekend.

Harmony Elementary celebrated the Semiquincentennial or America's 250th Birthday. Students spent the day learning about U.S. History and completing various USA themed activities.
