Notice: The Somerset County Health Department will be closed on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 for staff training.

Birth and death certificates will not be processed on June 2 due to the building closure. If you want to apply for a birth certificate online, please visit our website: https://birthcert.pattrac.app/somerset. We will process the application once we return to the office on June 3, 2026. Someone will contact you when the birth certificate is available for pick-up.

On June 2, transportation services will be limited to critical care appointments only, which include dialysis, methadone, & cancer treatment. All appointments for June 4, 2026 must be called into the office by 12:00 PM on June 1, 2026. If you have a transportation appointment scheduled for June 3, 2026, please call the office by 4:30 on June 1, 2026 to confirm your pick-up time.
